This morning in Orange Walk a businessman was jacked and stuffed in a car trunk. At around 11:00, 50 year old Palmar resident, Kiran Kumar Solani was robbed of $3,000US and $50,000 pesos by two creole men with firearms.
They put him in the trunk of his white Toyota Camry and drove the car to the Corozal Free Zone, parked it under a shed and are believed to have fled with the cash. Solani managed to escape and called the police who have processed the vehicle for clues and are now looking for suspects.
