Today the United Nations High Commission for Refugees and other related agencies officially opened up a refugee resource center in Benque Viejo del Carmen. The center will serve as a shelter for incoming refugees as well as an information hub for those attempting to seek asylum in Belize. We heard more about how the new resource center will assist refugees today...
The Refugee Department will also be assisting in making sure that the center helps as many refugees as possible.
