In Belize City a meat shop was targeted on Friday night. It happened at Supreme Meats on Cemetery Road where two males, one with a knife and one with a gun held up the owners and stole everything they could get their hands on. Police told us it's two minors who did it:...

"Friday just after 7pm police responded to a robbery at that location, where upon arrival one of thje employee reported to the police that whilst he was cleaning inside of the business, 2 minors entered the establishment and held them at gun point stealing from them 2 cellular phones and a small amount of cash. Based on that report police arrested 2 minors yesterday for the crime of robbery. One is 15 and one is 16 years old."

"Being that these are only teenagers, are you surprised at the audacity of the hold-up?"

"Well it is something that we have been seen developing. We know that the older criminals are using these minors to go and commit robberies, so quick response led to the detention of 1 of the male persons and thereafter the other handover himself on the following day."

The minors were taken to court today.
