There was an accident this afternoon at mile 28 on the Hummingbird Highway. It seems and oil tanker lost control and flipped over a guard rail on a part of the road that has hills and curves . So far police have not confirmed the status of the driver - as to the extent of the injuries. We did see some oil spillage on the road. Contractors have been working extensively in that area to flatten out some of the hills and reduce the number of sharp turns.
