Those townspeople are also sure to press Commissioner Williams for answers in the investigation of this double murder.  We know that police are looking at a number of angles - but principally, the storyline has been that 53 year old Mario Graniel had a personal misunderstanding with one of the island’s notorious figures.  

Our sources say that the dispute may have been over a 25 year old woman - who, reports say, was friendly with both men.  We are told she has been detained by police - and was only allowed to attend the funeral yesterday with a police escort. They took her back into custody after the burial at the island graveyard. Police believe she may have played a central role in masterminding the killing.  As for the gunman who pulled up in a boat and shot Graniel and Swank, he is known to police, but reportedly still art large.
