"Police detained three persons so far. They have been questioned and they had to be released because of no evidence at this moment."

"So, how do you address the possibility of retaliation because that Kraal Road and Bembo area has relatively been quiet. Now for someone to go in there and fire shots at a well respected woman in the neighborhood; it can trigger more violence. How does the police address something like this?"

"Yes we are aware of that situation. Hence the reason there is a police checkpoint at the corner of Dolphin Street and Kraal Road. So those police are the ones that are patrolling the area and also there is a vehicle that is assigned to that area. Also, we are using the police camera at the corner of Curasow and that is also assisting us in monitoring the area."

"We understand that it is an ongoing feud between two rival gangs within that area. However the female was not the intended target. It was someone else."
