Police have been working to dismantle drug gangs on San Pedro and yesterday morning a raid at dawn turned up drugs and ammunition.
At 5:30, police raided the home of 44 year old Alexander Fitzgibbon and 29 year old Lucio Salazar in the Boca del Rio area.
They found 10 ounces of crack cocaine, 3 ounces of powdered cocaine, 2 ounces of weed and one hundred and one round of 5.56 ammunition, the type used in assault rifles.
Police arrested and charged Fitzgibbon Sr., 27-year-old Karla Salazar, 19 year old Antonio Ortiz, 19 year old Brian Ack, 48 year old Selfa Salazar, 18 year old Wilmer Ortiz, 20 year old Jeffrey Alegria, 29 year old Lucio Salazar, 25 year old Karen Santos and 3 minors, a 17-year-old and two 13-year-olds. All of them were charged for drug trafficking and kept prohibited ammunition.
