This opportunity to talk with the current head of the US Embassy came at their pre-independence day celebration at the chargé's
residence in Belmopan this afternoon. In 2 days, US citizens will celebrate their 243rd anniversary of their country's independence.
To recognize the importance of that day, the US Embassy in Belize hosted a social event where they invited Belizean VIP's to join them in celebrating the US Independence. 7News attended and here's what the US Charge D' Affairs had to say to his guests:
