Police Have Gang Suspect In Felix Murder
posted (July 5, 2019)
Police have not made any arrests in one of the most sensational murders the city has seen. On Wednesday night, the Felix brothers, Maurice and Emory were at a pool hall on Baymen Avenue when two gunmen went in and executed them, firing more than a dozen rounds at the brothers. At least one of the weapons had an extended clip and police recovered 17 nine millimeter expended shells from the scene. Both men's bodies were riddled with bullets.

Emory Felix - who was found dead on Baymen Avenue is believed to have jumped over the verandah from the second floor establishment to escape the shooter. But, reports say, another shooter was waiting at the bottom of the stairs. While he finished off the 33 year old Emory, the other shooter launched across the pool table upstairs to kill 34 year old Maurice Felix. The shooters then sped off in a waiting car.

Police have one wanted suspect who has gang ties, but no charges have been brought. The Felix had been targeted ever since they came out of prison in January - where they had been remanded for murder.
