Be careful on the major highways on Friday and Saturday - because long and heavy bridge beams will be in motion.
The beams will be taken from Ladyville through Burrell Boom and unto the George Price Highway headed to the Roaring Creek bridge in Belmopan - which is under construction.
The beams will have escorts, but it will take up the entire width of the road, and the public is advised to exercise extreme caution when approaching the convoy transporting the beams.
And, because of this construction, also on Saturday and Sunday, the Roaring Creek bridge will be closed for short periods to accommodate the installation of the beams. The closure will be for 45-minute intervals between 7:00 a.m. and midday on both Saturday and Sunday.
