An apparent drug plane was found in extreme southern Belize this weekend. Yesterday afternoon the police and BDF got information that a plane was flying low over Graham Creek, which is in the remote reaches of Western Toledo.
Police told us more:...
ACP Joseph Myvette- Head of NCIB
"On Saturday night, shortly before midnight, Punta Gorda police was informed of a low flying aircraft in the Graham Creek area, which is somewhere near the Guatemalan border. Yesterday, members of the BDF left to confirm this information where they came across a make shift airstrip and a twin engine white in color aircraft, almost completely burnt. It was seen on the ground. No one was found in the area. What was also found in the area was a yellow in color bulldozer. At this point in time I will say that police and BDF are on the seen conducting investigations."
