posted (July 22, 2019)
And while police hope to soon bring charges in that case, they are looking for a suspect in another killing.

52-year-old Emmanuel Ampomah was stabbed up in his taxi last Wednesday night - and he crashed on Seashore Drive. Police say he wasn't killed by the multiple stabs, he was crushed under his Toyota Four Runner:

Supt. Alejandro Cowo, O.C., C.I.B., Eastern Division
"Reference the death of Emmanuel Ampomah, the post mortem was conducted and the doctor certified that the cause of death was not due to the stab wounds that he had received but it was because of the vehicle that had dropped on top of him. We are still not discarding the incident and the file will be prepared and it will be sent to the DPP for directives. We have had one person detained for questioning in custody and he was interviewed and released on Saturday. We are still looking for another person. I believe that a wanted poster will be coming out for that person"

Reporter
"Was there any robbery element? Is it known yet if there was a robbery element?"

Supt. Alejandro Cowo
"Yes, we do believe there as robbery involved however up to this moment we are unable to ascertain if anything was taken from the driver."

We're still waiting for that wanted poster?. The suspects were described to us as two minors, but police say they are over 18.

Ampomha was originally from Ghana.
