Tyrique Munnings was shot multiple times last week in Ladyville, and was left in critical condition. It happened in the Milpa area - which is a crime hotspot in that village.
Police say they are trying to get the victim's family to assist in the investigation:..

"Police have been speaking to the family reference the shooting of Tyrique Munnings and we are still trying to convince them to give Police a statement in regards to what transpired on that evening. We are asking the public that were out there to please come and assist us. We know that several persons that were out there who saw what happened and police have been trying to speak to these persons but up to now we have not been able to secure a statement from any of them. Mr. Munnings is still in a critical, but stable condition at this time."
