60 year old Nestor Vasquez Junior died on June eighth - from massive head injuries he sustained in a vicious beating he received while in police custody. Police put him in a cell with a dangerously unstable mentally ill man - who was there waiting to be arraigned for stabbing psychiatric nurse Therese Eligio.
When we last heard from the family in June, they were in discussions with police finding out what happened and figuring out what they would do to make sure something good came out of their brother's passing.
