The number of Dengue cases is exploding in northern Belize. 7News has confirmed that the numbers have ballooned drastically. Sources tell us that the number of infections for 2019 has surpassed cumulative numbers for 2017 and 2018 combined!
There are also a large number of cases turning up at the Southern regional hospital but the figures are not unexpected.
The Ministry of Health says it is doing the best it can with education sessions and spraying. We'll have more on this tomorrow.
