Fuel Fluctuates
posted (July 23, 2019)
Pump prices for fuel have been all over the place in the last few months, going up, and down, and up again. And the Ministry of Finance is reporting tonight, that regular gas, Diesel, and Kerosene will see a price increase.

At Midnight, the changes will take effect, and regular gasoline will increase by 18 cents, from $10.37 per gallon to $10:55 per gallon.

Diesel Oil will increase by 12 cents, going from $9.96 per gallon to $10.08 per gallon. Kerosene will also increase by 26 cents; it is currently $7.45 per gallon but at midnight that price increases to $7.71 per gallon. The price of premium gasoline will remain unchanged at $10.63 per gallon.

The Ministry of Finance says that these price changes reflect the current demand and supply conditions of crude oil on the international petroleum market, as well as the fluctuations in the acquisition price of refined fuel products in the countries from which Belize purchases fuel.
