It caused quite a scene on Chetumal Street in the Belama area at 8:10 last night when a 15 seater van burst into flames.
58 year old Barrington Usher was driving the van over Chetumal bridge - and shut down the ignition while waiting for police to clear a checkpoint. But when he turned it back on, he heard a loud bang from under the hood.
The van burst into flames, but no one was hurt.
