Police from Dangriga are investigating an incident where a burglar broke into a woman's house and allegedly attacked her while she was asleep.
Ninnette Bernardez, a resident of Plaintain Street, reported that sometime after 11 last night, she was asleep when a man broke into her house, entered her room, and choked her. She alerted another family member who was also at home at the time, and this family member intervened and subdued the man. Bernardez suffered a cut during the struggle with the culprit.
