"Killer Cop Kent Shot Me" Man Claims
posted (August 1, 2019)
Yesterday, we showed you how Police Corporal Kent Martinez was arraigned for the manslaughter by negligence of Allyson Major Jr.

But, should Martinez even have been on active duty? Two months ago, on mothers' day back in May, Vince Martinez - who is no relation - said Corporal Kent shot him in his home for no reason.

Vince Martinez says when he saw the Corporal on television last night it all came back to him:...

Kent Martinez, Shot by Kent Martinez
"Cpl. Kent Martinez, I saw him on the TV last night and it brings back memory to mother's day when my went and brought this police at my house who started to abuse me in my house."

Reporter
"You and your wife were having a dispute?"

Kent Martinez, Shot by Kent Martinez
"She went for the police to talk to me. But when the police came in the house he started to abuse me. I was explaining to this man why was he dealing with me like that, to call DVU. I work with them sometimes. I tried to explain to the man and all of a sudden this man burst a shot on me with a pellet. He can't explain why he shot me for. I told him he shot an unarmed man."

Reporter
"Did you had a weapon?"

Kent Martinez, Shot by Kent Martinez
"No."

Reporter
"Were you fighting with the police officer, were you resisting arrest? were you threatening his safety or wellbeing? were you posing a threat?"

Kent Martinez, Shot by Kent Martinez
"Nope. Right up to now I haven't gotten a charge sheet."

Reporter
"He shot you to shut you up?"

Kent Martinez, Shot by Kent Martinez
"Yes, right in front of my wife and my son."

Reporter
"Where he shot you is right above your private parts, on your pubic area?"

Kent Martinez, Shot by Kent Martinez
"Yes, right up to now I still has to go and see the doctor, because I have a little problem that whenever I want to urine, like I don't have the strength to hold my urine. I have to hurry and use the bathroom."

Reporter
"So you made a complain to professional standards?"

Kent Martinez, Shot by Kent Martinez
"Yes, I have everything. I already paid for the statement that I gave. I got that and I gave it to the lawyer already. If they had dealt with my matter - it seems like because of fatality they would take up the matter. If there is no fatality, it looks like the police could hurt you and abuse you how they want and they are still out here hurting other people, so far I am not getting any feedback or anything. I couldn't believe this guy is still out there in the streets working. I thought this guy was on interdiction. When I saw him on the news last night in less than 2 months for shooting someone again? Come on, this really looks bad on the police force."

Vince Martinez's injuries were classified as wounding. Again, he has not heard back from the Professional Standards Branch. He says he would like Kent Martinez to be criminally charged.
