Alberto Ara Denies Unnatural Act
posted (August 12, 2019)
Before we start our next story, we'll warn you that it's not for children. So, if you have them around, do ask them to take a TV timeout.

At the start of July we told you about the case of 39 year old Alberto Ara from Ontario village. His father, 80 year old Miguel Ara allegedly caught him having sex with one of his pigs.

The elder Ara made a complaint - and asked for court action because it had happened before.

Alberto Ara - who has been charged for a quadruple murder before - went on the run - and wasn't caught until this weekend.

He was found right back in Ontario on Friday night. Police took him into custody and he appeared in Belmopan Magistrate's court today where he was read a charge for sex against the order of nature, and sex with a female pig.

But, he pleaded not guilty, and staunchly denied the charges - and when he was leaving court Plus TV asked him about it:

Reporter
"Did you have sex with a pig?"

Alberto Ara, Accused, Unnatural Act
"No I don't. This is some kind of issue with my stepmother I believe and I think I will solve that later."

When he appeared today in court Ara said he could bring his father and other family members to speak on my behalf and drop charges.

Well when we spoke to his father, he said that it was hard for him - but he wouldn't be dropping the charges. First, he told us how his son was caught in the village on Friday night:

Voice of: Miguel Ara, Father
"They saw him the evening when he went to buy by the shop and then afterwards he moved from there and he went under the house. They stayed there to see if he will come out, but he never did and they called the police and the police is supposed to come around 9 O' Clock and then they surround the house and they saw him there and they told him to get out. He was laying down under the house."

Reporter
"You intend to proceed with charges?"

Miguel Ara, Father
"Well, yes. I already gave my statement; they have 2 statements from me."

Reporter
"So you want him to be charged?"

Miguel Ara, Father
"Yes, I don't want to leave him like that, because supposed I leave him like that? Okay and he gets free, he comes out again and does something worse. Then what will happen? I can't say. I already in this. He is my son indeed, but I feel it, I decide to put charges on him."

Because Ara told the court his father would come and clear things up - the matter was adjourned until Monday 19 August. But as you just heard Miguel Ara said, he will not drop the charges.
