And while Cayo police get ready to prosecute Alberto Ara for the allegations of unnatural crime, investigators from Dangriga are trying to determine the identity of a man, whose body was found off the coast of Dangriga Town.
The body was found early this morning in an advanced state of decomposition, and already there are speculations about the possible identity of the person. That's because there is a well known missing person in Dangriga who went missing at sea.
But, at this morning's press brief, police would not get into speculation. They shared what little information they had at the time:

"This morning, shortly before 9 a.m., based on information received, police visited an area off the coast of Dangriga, known as Gra Gra Lagoon, where the body of a male dark-complexioned male person was found. Police are still on the scene. And so far, we have not been able to positively identify who that person is. So, we are still processing the scene."

"Has there been any indications from the on-site police officers of any possible signs to indicate murder or so other."

"Not at this point, as I said, the processing of the scene is still going on."
