Cop Carried on Relationship With Child
posted (August 12, 2019)
A police constable is in serious trouble tonight after being accused of carrying on in an unlawful sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl.

Last Friday, the minor went to police with a social worker and reported to police that over the past 5 months, she's been having intercourse with Constable Herman Milian, who is attached to the San Ignacio Police Station. She is not 16 years-old, and therefore she cannot legally consent. So, police have since charged Milian with 8 counts of unlawful sexual intercourse.

The head of the National Criminal Investigations Branch briefly discussed the case with the press today:

ACP Joseph Myvette - Head, NCIB
"On Friday last, a 13-year-old female minor in the company of a social worker, visited the San Ignacio Police Station, where they minor reported having being involved in a sexual relationship with PC Herman Milian, who is attached to the San Ignacio police formation. An investigation was carried out, where a medical examination was also done, which revealed that the minor was carnally known. And as a result, PC Milian has since been arrested and charged for 8 counts of unlawful sexual intercourse."

Reporter
"What happens to his service in the police department at this time?"

ACP Joseph Myvette
"I believe at this point in time, since he has been charged over the weekend, he has already been interdicted, and he may have appeared in court today, for which do not have the results yet."

Reporter
"Now, sir, the gentleman is innocent until proven guilty, but in a situation like this, the behavior must not be condoned, right sir?"

ACP Joseph Myvette
"Of course, it's not. That's the reason why the investigation was carried out, and he was arrested and charged."

It is expected that Milian will be arraigned in Magistrate's Court at the earliest convenience.
