Bail For Cops Who Had Sexual Relationship With Child
posted (August 16, 2019)
On Monday, we told you about Police Constable Herman Milian. He's the officer from the San Ignacio Police Station who police charged with 8 counts of unlawful sexual intercourse. That's after a 13-year-old girl reported to police that he was carrying on an illegal sexual relationship with her for the past 5 months. Well tonight, he's out on bail.

His attorney, Hurl Hamilton, made a bail petition on his behalf today before a Supreme Court judge today. The prosecutor representing the DPP's Office did not object to the petition, but there was a request for conditions to be placed. The presiding judge agreed and granted him bail of $10,000 with the conditions that he is to surrender his travel documents to the court, and he must report to the San Ignacio Police Station every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Additionally, he is not to interfere with the virtual complainant or any other prosecution witness, and he is not to go within 100 yards of the complainant.

As we reported, the 13-year-old girl showed up with a social worker to the San Ignacio Police Station, and she reported to police that for the past 5 months, she had been engaging in sexual relations with PC Milian. Whether or not she agreed to these encounters is of no importance because, under the law, she cannot legally consent to sex until she is 16 years old. A medical examination confirmed that she was carnally known.
