A man was chopped to death in Hope Creek Village in the Stann Creek District on Saturday morning.
40-year-old, Salvadoran farmer of Melinda Road, Kelvin Esau Hernandez was found chopped up near a village bar.

"On the 17th of August 2019 around 12:18 am Dangriga Police responded to a report of a chopping incident at Fuentes Billiards Bar located in hope Creek, Stann Creek district. Whereupon arrival they found the body of Kelvin Hernandez 40 years old with chop wounds an investigation reveals that the deceased had an argument with another male person who left the area and thereafter the male person returned with another person on a motorcycle he got off the motorcycle and inflicted the chop wounds to the deceased. An investigation is being conducted at this time Police are looking for two suspects."
