Two police constables, Leonard Nunez and Hallett King got off a manslaughter conviction with time served. It is a decision bitterly rejected by the family of the man they killed, Hilberto Sotz.
And while they walked out of court free after serving less than two years, we learnt today that the two men have been dismissed from the police department because of that conviction.
