The cops were a bit more forthcoming when they discussed the Tuesday afternoon shooting of Lloyd Faber.

According to the cops, he was socializing with a friend on Amara Avenue when a vehicle drove up, and gunman jumped out and started firing shots at them:

"Sometime about 3 p.m., police visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, where they observed Mr. Lloyd Faber suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. What police established is that he was along with another friend, sitting on Amara Avenue, when a vehicle stopped. Someone exited the vehicle and fired shots at him, causing the injury to him. Fortunately, it was a minor graze that he received. He was treated and discharged that same night."

"Police were able to speak to him yesterday. He had already given an account as to what happened, and we are looking into that at this moment."

Lloyd Faber hangs out at that area - which is in front of the area representative Michael Finnegan's office.
