And there was another fatal accident that claimed the life of another man - this one in Southern Belize.  

At about 2:00 this afternoon, 37 year old Greg Perez was riding a Ninja style motorbike when he lost control and crashed near Medina Bank village between miles 63 and 64 on the Southern Highway.  Perez was flung into the drain and died on impact.  His passenger survived and was rushed to the Southern Regional for treatment.

Perez - who works outside Punta Gorda Town - was traveling northbound to Independence Village. We understand Perez is a newlywed.
