Though the event was somewhat impacted by rainy weather, the aspiring carnival kings and queens in both the senior and junior categories still gave their best efforts to entertain the carnival crowd.

But, it was an anticlimax because the winners weren't announced until last night.

In the senior category, Soca Moca, placed first in both the Carnival King and Queen competition. In the junior category, their junior band, Soca Massive, also won both the king and queen competitions.

For the Junior Carnival Queen category, Pickstock placed second, and Jump Street Posse came in third. In the Junior King category, Jump Street Posse was second, and Pickstock came in third.
