At first glance, it may look like a discarded rubber glove but it is in fact waterlogged skin that peeled of the body of a deceased fourteen year old child.

Three days ago the body of Christian Chi was stuffed into this water filled drain by the three men that murder him.

If you recognize Chi that is because a jasmine alert was issued last week with hopes of finding Christian alive. Witnesses claimed that he was last seen around 5:45 in the evening getting onto a motorcycle with his friend Angel Novelo. Novelo was detained in the early stages of the investigation for questioning but he was later released.

So last night on the San Lorenzo road, Christian's body was pulled from the drain.

Today Chi's family returned to the site to unearth the remains of their brother that the Police had overlooked. We spoke to one of Christian Chi's older brothers to ask him if he has any idea why Novelo, Blanco and Opu would do this to his brother?

"That is the question. We can't understand why they did that to my little brother but it could be that they got into an argument. Well we can't say that because they were riding the cycle the two of them together."

"My next brother and two neighbors who used to live well they have their fast food shop there. So my little brother was sitting there waiting for a cycle or something he told my father that somebody would pass and pick him up with a cycle because he had a white helmet and he took his white helmet and gone there to the fast food and he was waiting for the person. As he thought was his friend was well passed and picked him up. There are alot of witnesses that saw my little brother jump on the cycle."

We caught up with Chester Williams today at a meet and greet in Corozal to ask him more about the confession

"From what the investigation is showing the young boy was killed by his own associates including the person who was on the motorcycle he may have played some role in the murder. He is one of the suspects he is a 33 year old and the other two suspects are 15 year olds so you can see that two minors are involved and from the investigation, it shows that the killing may have been somewhat drug related. It looks like peddling. I know that those persons who are accused of killing him, those are involved in drugs. I know that the police had release one of the suspects, but they had return back to detain that person, because of additional information that have arise. If the investigation reveals that all of them played, then all 3 will be charged. If not, then only the person who may have caused the fatal injury. based on observation, it would appear as if he was hit in the head with a piece of rock."

The Chi Family is understandably angry and confused because despite his alleged involvement Angel Novelo has been released.

"We all are sad. We never expected this to happen to my little brother. He used to go all about because my father let him, but we feel sad and we only hope that the law do take and do justice. He's just a child he's just thirteen because the certificate says he's fourteen but he is just thirteen."

A postmortem revealed conclusively that Christian Chi's cause of death was traumatic shock from blunt force trauma to the head.
