And there is more bad news that happened on the 10th holiday, a well-known Bella Vista Village Chinese shop owner was shot and killed last night. It happened around 7:10. Jingzhang Xu also known as "Grandpa" was inside his Chens store when an armed masked man dressed in camouflage wear stormed in and demanded money. Xu did not comply and apparently put up a fight and he was shot dead. Today Commissioner of Police Chester Williams told us what investigators know so far.

"Sometime yesterday, Independence police were called to Chen's Store in Bella Vista Village, Stann Creek District, whereupon arrival they saw the lifeless body of a Chinese businessman Mr. Xu with apparent gunshot injury to the neck. He was taken to the Southern Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Police have since detained the main suspect in that matter and the investigation continues."

"The suspect, was he located because of surveillance footage or was he located in the immediate area?"

"Located through good police work."
