Belizean anthropologist Dr. Lyra Spang is touring the country's universities to present her New book Byte Yu Finga. The book was released by the UWI press back in April. Today Dr. Spang held a presentation for the students at St. John's Junior College in which she discussed the research which formed the basis of the book. She spoke to us after the presentation and outlined the two main questions she put forward in Bite Yu Finga.
Spang is also a tour guide. You can get a copy of the book at Taste Belize in Placencia for $85 Belize dollars. It can also be bought on the UWI press website for $55 US dollars.
