The Mystery of the Missing, Then Murdered Girl
posted (September 16, 2019)
So, Adamir Choc is the second teenager in less than 2 weeks whose case started out as a missing person report, but ended in tragedy. The first was Christopher Chi - whose body was found on the same day she went missing.

Police now have to retrace the final hours that she was last seen alive, in the hopes of finding out what led to her killing.

We tried to get a few details from the cops today about their investigation, but they told us that at this time, they don't know very much:

ACP Joseph Myvette - Head, NCIB
"On Saturday afternoon, Belmopan police were called to an area off the George Price Highway, on a feeder road known as Never Delay Road. Some 500 yards off the main road, the decomposed body of a Hispanic female, later identified as Adamir Choc, was found in an advanced state of decomposition. If you would recall, she was reportedly last seen alive on the 7th of September, and thereafter, 2 days later, an official report was made to the police that she was missing. Her body has since been removed from there, where a post-mortem examination was conducted. The investigation is still ongoing at this point, police are following several leads."

"An autopsy was conducted yesterday, where at the conclusion the cause of death was inconclusive due to the advanced state of decomposition."

Reporter
"Was there any sign or any evidence to show that maybe she was raped, sir, or sexually assaulted?"

ACP Joseph Myvette
"I'm not going to go into the details of how she was found, other than to say that she was found in an advanced state of decomposition."

Reporter
"Is there any sort of efforts being made to track down the vehicle seen in the surveillance footage that she was seen getting into?"

ACP Joseph Myvette
"I would not want to say that she was seen getting into any vehicle, other than to say that police have been looking at surveillance footage in relation to this investigation."

Reporter
"Has the friend who she was allegedly with been brought in for questioning?"

ACP Joseph Myvette
"Those persons have been brought in from the initial staged, and have been interviewed."

Reporter
"Was there any useful information provided?"

ACP Joseph Myvette
"Not much."
