On Friday's news, we showed you the arraignment of the 16-year-old minor for the murder of 13-year-old Christopher Chi, the resident of Yo Creek Village.
Police believe that the 16-year-old, said to be Chi's friend, is responsible for his killing. As we told you, Chi was last seen by his family members on September 6th. He was found 4 days later, on September 10th; his decomposed body had been dumped in a culvert on the San Lorenzo Road near Orange Walk Town. He had been bludgeoned to death.
It's a wild and bewildering murder, but today, police didn't have much to share:
ACP Joseph Myvette - Head, NCIB
"I can say that police have arrested and charged a 16-year-old minor of an Orange Walk address for the crime of murder, in relation to that incident."
Reporter
"Have you all found, or determined a motive for the teenager's killing, sir?"
ACP Joseph Myvette
"At this point, no."
