Today at the press briefing in Belmopan, police told us that they are not making much headway in leads nor in establishing a motive for Rowland's murder.

"I know that over the weekend, I believe it was the 21st; he succumbed to those injuries whilst still being admitted at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Since the shooting, he was in a critical condition a little bit after being admitted and he remained in that condition until he succumbed to those injuries on the 21st of September. So far the investigation is still ongoing. Police have detained several persons. We had made several attempts to interview several key persons who were associated with Rowland, however, their cooperation at this time has not been forthcoming, but we will still continue to press forward in this investigation."

"So a motive has not been established as yet for that shooting?"

"No, not as yet."
