The KHMH Workers Union is angry tonight - and demanding that the Medical Chief of Staff, Dr. Beatriz Thompson be removed within a week! And that demand letter was sent a week ago!
In its letter to the Chairman of the Board and the CEO, the union alleges that Dr. Thompson is withholding overtime from, quote, "many medical officers for July and August 2019."
The union is demanding urgent action by the Board and are seeking Thompson's removal within 7 days. If not they, will institute 21 days notice of industrial action. That 7 days expired today - so we'll see where it goes from here.
