Yesterday a group of stakeholders gathered at the ITVET for day 1 of a women's empowerment workshop. The main focus is to discuss how to better respond to and care for women who are victims of abuse. There are many cases that go unreported for fear of being re-victimized or fear of the perpetrator. Other cases are reported but no action is taken to protect the victim. We spoke with the main coordinator who discussed the main objective of the workshop.
