posted (October 3, 2019)

A house burned to the ground in Lord’s bank this morning. No one was at home when the fire began but a neighbor alerted authorities. Police provided more details earlier today - and we spoke to a neighbor.

Adrian Price - Neighbour
"When I got up this morning around 6:30 I woke up to the smell of smoke and when i peeped through the window I saw the house was engulfed with smoke no. In flames and then I proceeded to call. I made a call to 911 and they responded a few minutes later, let's say around 15-20 minutes. Then we had the fire station. Fire engine came by. Good thing that the person wasn’t there."

Hilberto Romero - Sr. Supt of Police, Deputy HNCIB
