San Pedro Police have arrested three persons for a major burglary in the Tres Cocos area, one mile north of the island town.  

It happened on Thursday afternoon when the caretaker for a home owned by a US National saw the door opened.  

She went to look inside and saw that the house was ransacked, and an assortment of items called at twelve thousands dollars was missing.  

This evening, police told us that they arrested and charged Jorge Pech, 26-year-old, Belizean Unemployed, for the crime of Burglary, George Michael Moro, 20-year-old, Belizean, for the crime of Handling Stolen Goods, and Thomasita Valerie Lopez, 28-year-old, Belizean for the crime of Handling Stolen Goods. All are residents of San Pedro.
