posted (October 7, 2019)
Police did not provide much information on this case either at today's press briefing. Here is what Sr. Superintendent Romero had to say.

Sr. Supt. Hilberto Romero - Deputy Head, NCIB
"On Saturday, the 5th day of October 2019, police responded to a shooting incident at the security booth at Excelsior High School. Upon their arrival, they were informed that a male person had been shot. This person was escorted to the KHMH. He was identified as Rodman Welch. He received one gunshot injury to the face. He is presently admitted at the KHMH in a critical condition, undergoing going treatment."

"This investigation is ongoing. That is all the information we have at this time is that he was working [as a] part-time security at that location. He was eating his food. A male person arrived and fired one shot at him, and then, the person fled the area."
