There are two disturbing cases of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor. In the first case, the young girl reported to the police yesterday evening that since November 2018 to mid-August this year, her stepfather would physically abuse her, and then had sex with her against her will. What is even more troubling is that the minor is reportedly pregnant and experiencing medical difficulties.
The other case happened up north, where a 14 year old girl reported to police that she had sexual intercourse with her boyfriend on September 27 at her residence. She also reported that she had sexual intercourse with another male person when she was 13 years old. Police are investigating both cases.
And in a case of rape where an adult female was the victim, police have made an arrest.
It allegedly happened on Saturday morning at around 12:30 a.m., in a Village in the Cayo District. The 24-year-old, female reported she went to a male villager's house where he grabbed her by her neck and dragged her to a bed where he raped her. Police arrested and charged 22 year old Servando Mendez Jr, for "RAPE".
