32-year-old Audrey Urbina, a British Army Corporal with familial ties to Belize, is currently facing a court-martial after she was accused of arranging unauthorized travel, using 17,000 pounds of the Army's money, to go fancy vacation trips for herself and her family.
She's a Class 1 Admin worker for the Army, and her job was to arrange travel for official trips and deployment for the Army. But, she allegedly abused that access, over 17 months, to book dozens of flights for her close family and friends to destinations such as New York, Belize, Guatemala City, Miami, and Frankfurt, Germany. Her Belizean family allegedly also benefitted from these unauthorized trips. She allegedly flew her sister from Belize to London, using the Army's money.
She's facing 15 counts of fraud, which are all connected to the travel bookings, and one count of making a false official record in relation to the NATO Travel Order.
