One of them did not have a helmet and died on the spot while the other who did have a helmet died on his way to the Southern Regional Hospital.

Police told us more:

Sr. Supt. Hilberto Romero
"Upon their arrival, they found a James Bus and a motorcycle on the right hand side of the road. The bus had damages to the bumper, the motorcycle had extensive damages. Information received that two persons were on the motorcycle: namely Fidel Cho and Colville Cho. They received injuries at the scene. They were taken to the clinic where both of them passed away thereafter. Investigation is ongoing at this time; the driver of the bus has been issued with a notice of intended prosecution."

"The bus was travelling towards Independence and the motorcycle came in front of that bus at some point by that junction. Again, statements are being recorded and at the end of that investigation we will determine who was at fault and if any charges will be levied on the bus driver."
