Gizmo Gets Off Attempted Murder
posted (October 16, 2019)
After a long criminal history, 34 year old Gian Bernard is now free of all criminal charges that he once faced. The 34 year old - who is now confined to a wheelchair - was today freed of a charge of attempted murder.

It was for the May 2012 shooting of a neighbor, Codrington Bodden. Bodden was shot to the face but survived. He later reported his shooter to have been Gian Bernard.

But Bodden was later gunned down and killed - and so, today, the DPP's office entered a "nolle pros" motion. So, after more than 7 years waiting for his trial to be called up, Bernard was happy to leave the court room a free man. A gunshot injury left him paralyzed some years ago.

In July, Bernard walked from a charge of murder for the alleged shooting of Jermaine Garnett.
