Tonight another accused murder suspect is free after his murder case ended in nolle pros in the Supreme Court. 22 year old Akeem Trapp walked off a charge for the 2015 murder of Ian Adolphus Jr. Adolphus was killed on Febuary 26th , 2015 when he was shot as many as three times.
He would later make a deathbed accusation to his mother naming Trapp as the shooter. Trapp attempted to challenge this accusation at a trial in 2016 but at the time Senior Magistrate Fraiser committed his case to the Supreme court.
Today the office of the DPP entered a nolle pros in Trapp's case claiming that there is not enough evidence to prove the murder charge.
