posted (October 21, 2019)
Turning back now to crime - there were four shooting in the city and Ladyville this weekend - luckily none of them fatal.

On Friday night at around 10:40pm, 30 year old Denfield Tasher was shot to the left lower back. It happened in the area of Lows supermarket, Ladyville and that's where police found Tasher lying on the street suffering from the gunshot. They shared details from Tasher's report earlier today.

ACP Joseph Myvett
"Also on Friday sometime after 10:30pm, police received information of a shooting incident in Ladyville and as a result they visited an area on Parakeet and Topnachik Street in Ladyville, somewhere in the vicinity of Low's Store where upon arrival, they saw a male person with apparent gunshot injuries, later identified as Denfield Tasher, 30 years of a Ladyville address. He was later transported to the KHMH, where he is listed in a stable condition. What the police know so far is that he was in conversation with a male person whom he claims he doesn't know by name, and in that said process, the male person took out a firearm and fired several shots towards his direction, one of which caught him in the mid-section. So far, that is all the information police have been able to gather from him but we are looking at several other leads given to us in relation to this investigation."

Police found fourteen 9mm expended shells at the scene.
