ACP Myvette also shared a few details about another shooting which happened on Saturday night on Jasmine Street - also in the city.
According to the cops, the victim, 26-year-old Kevin Buller, was riding his bicycle, minding his own business, when he heard a gunshot:

"On Saturday shortly after 9:30pm, police responded to an information of a shooting incident on Jasmine Street in Belize City where they met and spoke to one Kevin Buller who was seen on the ground and he reported to police whilst riding his bicycle on Jasmine Street he was approached from behind by a male person whom he did not recognize who fired a single shot towards his direction, hitting him in the back. He is in a stable condition and police are investigating this matter as this time."
Police don't have any suspects for this shooting.
