If you were on the Phillip Goldson Highway between 5:30 and 6:00 this evening, you'd have definitely noticed the very loud and proud motorcade making its way from Ladyville to Belize City. That's because the boys from U-13 Volleyball Team went to Costa Rica to compete in this year's Codicader Games, and they made history by winning gold.
It's a big win for Team Belize, and their coaches and parents were excited to greet them at the international airport this evening when they returned.
We spoke with the coach and a few of the players about their golden weekend:
The motorcade ended this evening with an informal celebration at the Stars Gym on Princess Margaret Drive.
