There have been two apparent murders in Orange Walk in the last 24 hours.  Darren Gentle - who's is the son of Ministry of Works CEO Errol Gentle - was executed last night in a some kind of transaction gone bad.   We'll tell you about that shortly, but first to this afternoon's news of a dead body found in the town cemetery.  

Around two this afternoon, the body of a John Doe was found stuffed between two tombs inside a mausoleum.  Reports say he had apparently been bludgeoned with a concrete cross on the head and face.  The cross seems to have been ripped from one of the nearby tombs.

So far, police have not confirmed his identity of what appears to be a hispanic male.  An earlier identification pointing to a local vagrant turned out to be erroneous.
