Fiberglass: It is a common construction material, you can find it in windows, roofing, aircrafts and boats among many other products. Well, it might be common but the fiber glass particles are dangerous to humans. They cause irritation to the skin, and when inhaled it causes irritation to the nose and throat among other serious complications. That is the main concern for Caribbean shores residents because workers at a nearby boat yard are using the material recklessly. We spoke to Steve Perrera who is a Caribbean Shores resident about this issue.
