UB’s engineering students spent the day completing working models of functioning bridges. The students from the engineering faculty’s three winning teams compete annually at the Macaroni Structural Competition in Chetumal, and this year the pool of talent seems strong. Lloyd Carillo of UB let us in on some of the preparations the students made in the lead up to the competition. 

The strength of the nine bridges built today will be tested with counter weights at the ITVET basketball court tomorrow, the public is invited to attend.
